Tormets Oy is strengthening its sales organization by welcoming Joakim Colpaert as the new Sales Manager. Joakim began his role at the beginning of September and brings with him strong experience in mining industry sales and technology solutions.
Joakim has over ten years of experience in sales and mining processes both in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. He has previously worked at Hexagon with radar technology and automation, as well as in various sales positions in Metso’s mining business.
By education, Joakim is a Master of Science in Process and Mineral Engineering from the University of Oulu, and he is actively involved in the Finnish Mining Association (Vuorimiesyhdistys).
Joakim shares his expectations for his new role as follows:
“At Tormets, I particularly look forward to combining my experience in understanding customer needs and developing technical solutions with the company’s strong expertise. My goal is to build long-term customer relationships, find new business opportunities, and be part of taking Tormets to the next level of growth. It’s also great to notice that many of the customers are already familiar to me, and I look forward to continuing collaboration with them as well as building new relationships.”
