Smooth production and smart control with grant-funded projects
Tormets is currently running two government grant-funded projects aimed at making the order–supply chain even smoother and more reliable. The Lean project, which is getting a boost from the newest generation of digital production management, has reached a good pace. The project makes functions more systematic and reduces time and material waste.

There are almost 90 of us here at Tormets, all united by a northern attitude. That means our ability to solve problems in difficult situations and harsh conditions. We don’t expect others to bear responsibility or do our work for us. Our roots are firmly in the shores of the Bothnian Bay, where almost one tenth of Finland’s industrial exports is manufactured.
